What is this “nature” you speak of?

Moving in means a lot of trips to the hardware store / home center. When we did this in Brattleboro, all those years ago, I was immediately struck by the giant snowblowers.

In subtropical Auckland, however, a homeowner’s eye turns to AstroTurf, and musing on whether “natural synthetic” is a meaningful construct caused me to forget an item on the list.
