Traffic

We participated in three major traffic events this weekend: after the fireworks, crossing the border to come home, and just a few miles before we got home the interstate was backed up due to construction.

Altogether, maybe 5 hours lost. Thank heaven for distracting gadgets, air conditioning, and of course having a spouse whose threshold for that sort if annoyance closely matches mine.

A good reminder why we normally avoid traveling on holidays.
