Turquoise. No, seafoam. Celadon?

Yesterday we stopped in at the Centre Congregational Church spring Jumble Sale. We came away with our new dishes, a nearly complete set of Taylor Smith Taylor Versatile style. 

These T-S-T dishes were verrryyyyy popular in the 50s, which is when this set dates from. Mostly, they had great/terrible patterns, but ours are a simple aqua with a brown or gray wash around the edges. Super simple in form and color, these would have been at home in any Danish modern decor, back when Danish modern was actually modern instead of retro.

And speaking of modern, do you notice that stainless steel backsplash and the snazzy reflection of LED lights?
