After the race on Saturday morning, we went to Homestead Farms in Walpole. They are most famous for their cider doughnuts, which are wonderful, still warm when we grabbed a dozen. However, on a healthier note, they also have a you-pick tomato greenhouse. For $1.25 a pound, you grab as many as you want. It took about a minute to fill up a flat: amazing!


Not a joke, actually.

If only everything were as simple.

The next time we design a travel trailer or a boat cabin, or a tiny basement apartment, we’re gonna remember this articulated commode… When it’s folded in and closed, the counter is only about 18" deep.

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital apparently sits in a spot that is privileged for rainbows. I’m sure most people who look out these windows are hoping for something like a pot of gold: either as a metaphor for a return to health or more literally as a way to pay the bills.
