Magic Growing Tree

Most fun Christmas present so far. It’s just some cardboard cut out to look like a tree, which you set in a little plastic tray and add the magic solution. Over the period of a few hours, this super tree appears.

I wasn’t quite satisfied with the explanation of “magic” but luckily this is why they invented the Internet… here’s how you make your own, and it turns out the magic ingredient is probably a generic version of Mrs. Stewart’s Bluing, which in turn uses Prussian blue, which really is magic… anything that has so many practical everyday uses and also helps with radiation poisoning is a winner in my book.
