The Singapore Merlion is a prized part of the local brand… And I’ll say brand instead of culture, since the place is certainly run like a corporation. Carol was kind enough to pose for this shot … I see a lot of this sort of thing in other people’s albums but usually don’t have the patience to line it up just right. Even though “Merlion Spitting” probably won’t become a classic like “Moon in Your Hand” or “Astride the Eiffel Tower”, it still came out pretty good.
