I found myself in Greenfield, MA the other morning and took a walk. It’s not a particularly pretty town, at least not that part, and nothing’s at its best here in the ass end of winter. So, I was glad to find a history lesson. The transcontinental railroad is one of the standard interoperability parables (what if they’d used different gauge track or missed the meeting point in Utah… So hire me and avoid those mistakes). I took a quick walk through the cemetery but didn’t find the actual grave… It’s in there somewhere.
