De booten

We walked around on one of the Harbor Islands yesterday, a very new and modern enclave connected to the mainland buy a couple of attractive bridges. We visited a department store called Sissy Boy Homeland… full of beautiful things but we believe its US growth opportunities may be limited. Also had a really nice lunch at Kanis en Meiland 3.0.

We saw all kinds of boats, converted barge houseboats (this one outfitted with a whole tribe of mannequins), the harbor cruisers, working barges, personal runabouts, and even a 500 foot Viking River Cruise ship, which didn’t exactly look real as it stretched off into the distance.
