Fishermen’s Day

One part church supper and one part county fair, Stonington’s annual tribute to dead fishermen was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Highlights included grilled shark, Maine’s Funniest Magician, and the most engaging conversation I have ever had with a sno-cone vendor.

Low points included Maine’s Funniest Magician (it turns out that’s an easy title to claim) and deep-fried Oreos.
