La manif

We are in Day 8 of the current train strke, and today we were treated to a demonstration by striking workers. Maybe 50 of them marched around with banners, sat down on the platform for a while, and then enacted a mock funeral procession.

The “deceased” shown in effigy was some abstract idea: maybe service? They used road flares for censers and soon the whole building was full of smoke.
