Chinon

We transferred today from Tours to Chinon. Lovely little city. Our lodgings in an old house are fine.

That enormous statue of Joan of Arc sits, unfortunately, in the middle of a parking lot. However during the summer, they transform it into a whole bunch of basketball courts. What has the world come to?
