Appart de charme

All my accommodations on this trip came from AirBNB. So far so good. The first of our three lodgings is in the home of a woman named Catherine who is a professor of literature. The location is outstanding, and she has proven to be a very nice host. She even convinced her daughter to give us a mini concert on their harpsichord. They don’t have a microwave, but they do have a harpsichord.

My room normally belongs to her 11-year-old son, and is packed with books and games and his clothes… Not luxurious digs by any means but the price was right, and the welcome has made up for any inconveniences in creature comfort.

The patio is charming, and is shown here with my traveling companion Chuck who is clearly just visiting when you consider who the real owner is….

And finally the view over the next door rooftops of the cathedral all lit up at night.
