Melbourne Nightlife

For Valentine’s Day, Lee made us reservations at The Comic’s Lounge. We love the idea of comedy clubs, but somehow it seldom seems possible to actually get to one, so this was a treat. Unfortunately, the theory was more appealing than the practice. Between the so-so dinner, the late start, and the interminable breaks between acts, they stretched a perfectly good hour and a half show to over 4 hours. This picture really captures the effort required to stay excited.

Walking home through Flagstaff Gardens, we saw a different kind of night life, the local possum, who is much cuter than his American cousin.
