Sightseeing on Nova Scotia’s South Shore

Other than being kinda cold (ok really cold) it was a nice day to drive around and look at dramatic scenery. From spectacular monochromes seashore to the painted ladies of Lunenberg, it was a visual feast.

We saw a couple of pheasants jogging by the side of the road, sickly swamp trees, rocks. Tasted spirits from Ironworks Distillery and their gorgeous steampunk still, and ate chowder and lobster rolls… Pretty much what you’re supposed to do here this time of year.
