Halifax walkabout
Sometimes the weather in a tourism situation only sorta cooperates… The flowers are in bloom but it’s cloudy, or it’s a beautiful day but the leaves all fell off last week.
This morning we walked around Halifax for an hour or so, and the weather perfectly lived up to expectations: cloudy AND gray AND drizzly AND windy. But not awful… just cold enough to make it memorable, not miserable.
The high point, literally and figuratively, was the old Citadel on the Hill. All gravel and stones and old cannon, windswept.
