Leaf-peep-alooza

Today, we spent the day driving the back roads of southern Vermont and northwestern Massachusetts. The leaves are in full spectacular color, and all the leaf-peepers were out looking at them.

I can’t be sure, because this is only my second fall here, but it sure seems like an exceptional one.

The top picture is from Hogback Mountain, and the others are from Route 9 and a tributary road, somewhere between Marlboro and Jacksonville, Vermont.
