The 69th Guilford Fair

The last day of the fair today, the weather cleared up after SPECTACULAR thunderstorms overnight.

Lee got to wear her new-to-her peace sign rubber boots, and joined a bunch of other designer muck boot wearers.

We ate volunteer fire department BBQ chicken, checked out the fancy work and vegetable competitions, cooed at the cute ducklings and kids (human and caprine), and sat through the entire open weight division horse drawing contest (the winning team pulled an 8,500 load 22+ feet).

If they’d had a beer tent life would have been complete!
