Strolling of the Heifers preshow

After days and nights of rain, we went out for a walk yesterday in the surprise sunshine and watched the preparations for the parade.

There was an army of volunteers, marketing sponsors handing out balloons and candy and trinkets, and, To the joy of the downtown merchants, a whole line of people at the ATM pulling out money to spend around town.
