After the parade, the crowd fell in and followed the marchers to the Slow Living Expo held on the Commons and on the grounds of the Brattleboro retreat.
Last year we sloshed around that event in miserable weather, but yesterday it was perfect: lots of vendors, the crowds were huge, and everybody seemed to be doing well. We ate hot dogs and maple cotton candy and drank maple ginger soda.
We listened attentively to the pitch for the new Thin Crust Pizza joint: naked pizza? I’m in!
